The Rivalry Game, Version 1.2009 – Game Day Post

Morning, kids. It’s that time.
Robert Morris. Mount St. Mary’s.
Shake the cobwebs out of your heads, warm up the vocal chords, blink the sleep out of your eyes. The 2009 version of the Rivalry Series begins bright and early, with warm temperatures still swirling in the Pittsburgh area.
It also begins on television in the Pittsburgh area and with the Colonials looking to find an identity. Oh, they could also use a win.
While the Colonials are still sorting themselves out and shuffling the puzzle pieces to see what fits best, the Mount is pretty much the same team as last year. They lost Sam Atupem and Markus Mitchell, but that’s about it. Jeremy Goode still drives Milan Brown’s squad, and Jean Cajou is still hitting it from outside.
Should be fun.
We’ll be at the game for the newspaper. You’ll be able to get the full game story and juicy tidbits there. We’ll link up with a post here and whatever doesn’t make the printed pages.
