This week’s preview in the Times centers on the seniors, primarily Sherrod Evers and Camdin Crouse. Evers has been the primary receiver the past two years and one of the leaders on the team. Crouse, meanwhile, has the interesting perspective of being the primary backup quarterback for most of his career. Crouse was the #2 man behind Erik Cwalinski in 2007 and 2008.
Sixteen seniors are on this year’s roster and there are only a couple question marks surrounding potential returnees. Nathan Argenta should have another year after sitting out last season with an injury. Desmond Brentley might have another year depending on how transfer rules shake out. Any others will need to work within the NCAA to see how it shakes out.

And it seems that Crouse will not being starting against Wagner on Saturday.
Do you have an opinion concerning that decision?
You would think Senior Day that Crouse would get rewarded for leading the team down the field against Albany for the victory.
But I think you will see Crouse in the 2nd half against Wagner if the Offense is struggling again. It think there will be some great comments after the season is over with people giving opinions on how the team should be addressed. I have ideas but that is for the off season.
7-0 RMU in the first quarter. Wagner moving the ball well, but Colonials force an interception and cash it in.
Tied at 7 after the first quarter.
10-7 RMU after a 36 yard field goal from Garrett Clawson. 8:14 left in 2nd.
10-10 after a 32 yard field goal from David Lopez. 0:31 left in 2nd.
14-yard touchdown pass from Sinclair to King gives RMU a 17-10 lead, 12:14 left in 3rd quarter.
24-10 now. Tyler Digby, a freshman TE from Canada, catches his first career pass for a 24-yard touchdown.
Clawson with a 47-yard field goal. 27-10 RMU. 1:23 left in the third.
Ok, who’s gonna find fault with Sinclair this week?
C’mon, let the kvetching begin! You know you want to!
8:19 left now. 30-10 after another Clawson field goal.
Camdin Crouse in with a few minutes left on senior day.
Crouse scores from two yards out. 37-10. 2:07 left.
Ballgame. 37-10 final. Wagner knocked out of the NEC title race.
RMU scored on all five possessions in the second half and did not allow Wagner to score in the second half.
Myles Russ had 173 yards on the day, giving him 985 for the year. Should be able to crack 1,000 next week against Monmouth. Amazingly he has just 1 touchdown on the year.
Jeff Sinclair 15-27 for 197 yards, 3 Tds, no turnovers, just one sack.
Congrats RMU and Thank You Seniors
A gorgeous November day and a great game! Where was this team the first six games? They seem unstoppable lately. Whatever they said, told, showed etc. Sinclair this past week, he was like a different quarterback today. he wasn’t scrambling, he looked over his recievers, did some nice fakes. He was a much improved quarterback today. And Camdin deserves much credit for sticking it out this season and getting his touchdown today.
Whoever earlier in this season was putting down these players need to look at this team now. This team had every reason to just quit, not care, fake injuries, etc when the team was 0-6 and looking at a tough end of the season. I can’t say enough of how proud I feel of these players. They have given it all to prove that they ARE a good football TEAM. and that is it, they are a TEAM. They had every reason NOT to put themselves out there these last four weeks, and not give it their all. They not only did not give up, they have improved, they have bonded and they should be very proud of the MEN that they are. It is unbelievable that the two teams we thought they would surely lose to (albany and wagner) they have knocked out of first place.
thanks to the team for not giving up and for giving us some great games these last few weeks. And we will miss the seniors!
Beautiful day… great game. Makes you wonder what could have been if this team could have got it together at the beginning of the season. This was the best performance by the O line all year. Given the time provided by the O line and the soft pass defense that seemed to back off the RMU receivers all day, I’m thinking Joe himself could have completed some passed today.
